Baloxavir Marboxil is used for acute uncomplicated influenza and prevention of influenza after exposure. The US FDA approved baloxavir marboxil (Xofluza) for acute uncomplicated influenza in people 5 years and older who have had symptoms for no more than 48 hours, and for prevention after contact with someone who has influenza.
