Dasanix is a generic version of Dasatinib. It is made and sold by the Beacon pharmaceutical company. This is the first medicine used to treat CML. Dasanix is used for adults with newly diagnosed Philadelphia chromosome–positive (Ph+) chronic myeloid leukaemia (CML) in the chronic phase (CP). It is also used for adults with Ph+ CML who no longer get better with other treatments, such as imatinib, or who cannot tolerate them. The formula for it is C22H26ClN7O2S. Dasanix 100 Mg Dosing 

If you have Ph+ CML in its long-term phase, you have to take 100 mg of Dasanix once a day. This medicine is used for long-term care, so how long you take, depends on your condition and what your doctor thinks is best. Most of the time, Dr. tells you to take this medicine with or without food in the morning or evening. Taking too much can cause serious problems, like a significant drop in platelets in your blood.

Side Effects

1. Dasanix is known for its side effects, including infection.
2. When people take this drug, the bone marrow can be slowed down.
3. This medicine can build up fluid around the lungs (pleural effusion).
4. People who take Dasanix often also have trouble breathing.
5. Common side effects include diarrhoea, throwing up, feeling sick, and pain in the stomach.
6. Rash and other skin problems are likely to happen.
7. People who take this drug may experience swelling in their legs, arms, and face.

Storage 

You need to store this medicine at 20* to 25*C. Light and moisture can degrade the efficacy of this medicine. For this reason, you should keep it somewhere dark and dry; the bathroom is not appropriate. Keep the medication in a secure location away from children and pets because of its high potency.
