The active ingredient in each 20mg film-coated tablet of Cabanib is Cabozantinib (S) Malate, which is the INN name for the drug. Drug international limited is the producer of this medicine. Cabanib 20mg works by blocking the action of receptor tyrosine kinases, proteins that play a role in both healthy cell function and disease. There are 90 capsules of Cabanib 20 mg in a bottle. After Sorafenib treatment, Cabanib 20mg is recommended for patients with Renal Cell Carcinoma (RCC) and Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC).
Dosage
Cabanib 20 mg capsules should be taken once daily on an empty stomach until clinical benefit is no longer seen or unacceptable toxicity occurs. Follow your doctor’s instructions about when to take it every day. Get some water and take the capsules whole. Don’t pop the capsules or mash them up in your mouth. It is important to follow your doctor’s instructions exactly when taking this medication.
