About Tocit XR
Each tablet with a film coating has 11mg of Tofacitinib Citrate INN as Tofacitinib Citrate. Tofacitinib is an inhibitor of a Janus kinase. Tocit XR is used to treat adults with severe rheumatoid arthritis, severe psoriatic arthritis, ulcerative colitis, and juvenile idiopathic arthritis that affects many joints. It can also be used by itself or with methotrexate or other drugs that are not biological.
Dosage
One tablet of Tocit XR should be taken by mouth every day until the disease gets worse. Take the whole capsule with water. Don’t open it, break it, or chew it. You should take Tocit XR every day at about the same time.
Side Effects
- Diarrhea.
- Nasopharyngitis.
- Infections of the upper respiratory tract.
- Headaches, and high blood pressure.
Storage
Tocit XR should be kept in a cool, dry, clean place that is out of the reach of children and away from direct sunlight.
